Tux and
Bunny was originally inspired by Todd
and Penguin. It just seemed that a stuffed Tux
mascot would love the comic and so on a few occassions
I had Tux "scenerios" created with the
help of a digital camera and Paint Shop Pro. This
eventually lead to people demanding more and a regular
"comic" (Which, thanks to Somebody
Strange I got given the more accurate term "fumetti") I then take the picture and load it into Paint Shop Pro 7 (I'm stubbornly not upgrading. I see the headaches my mom has with text in 9). I eyeball the picture and put in thought balloon (Paint Shop Pro comes with them in the default shapes) and then add the text. You can typically tell who took the picture by where the text balloons end up. (My brother tends to forget to leave room at the top) The text comes from a text file I have on my desktop. I think of T&B ideas at the oddest times and stick them in the file. Often the idea will go through three or four revisions before it actually gets used. Ideas come from life, tv, gaming, friends and family. Most frustratingly, most seem to come when I'm barrelling down the highway at .. (mom censor!) 100 km/h (yeah, that's it) and no way for me to record said idea. (I have been known to pull over and phone my own voice mail - I refuse to drive and phone). I'm always willing to take suggestions ^_^ As far as the author goes.. excrutiating details can be found at my homepage. |
